An unpublished "Prima della Scala" this 2020, which left you breathless with the performance of Roberto Bolle
Roberto Bolle, the dancer who conquered everyone
A Prima della Scala in a decidedly unprecedented guise for 2020, marked by the landing on the small screen: a historic event, aired on TV due to the Coronavirus emergency and not behind closed doors as it has always been.
The theater brought to the stage an unmissable event, made of art and beauty entitled A riveder le stelle from Dante's memory. A show made of music, ballet, prose and visual art strongly desired by the director Davide Livermore, who wanted to underline: “We will do something never seen before and that we will never see later”.
It was a unique opportunity for fans and not, to see a wide range of pieces that have retraced the history of opera, not only in Italy, for the recording of which twenty-four of the greatest interpreters of the international opera scene were involved , from Plácido Domingo to Roberto Alagna, from Jonas Kaufmann to Vittorio Grigolo.
Their performances were conducted by Riccardo Chailly, head of the house orchestra, positioned for the occasion in the stalls. The La Scala theater was used in all its parts, thus opening its doors to the public at home.
Milly Carlucci and Bruno Vespa presented the event: the host opted for a simple but effective outfit, a black suit with black jacket and trousers, and a white blouse with a rounded neckline. Loose and smooth hair for Carlucci, who has chosen to focus everything on intense make-up, with smokey eyes that highlighted the look and a nude lipstick on her lips.
The show was opened by the workers of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, who sang the Hymn by Mameli with great emotion. The event offered the public great news, focusing on scenography and augmented reality, which allowed viewers a surprising experience.
Just as the performance of the étoile Roberto Bolle was surprising and exciting, who danced to the notes of Davide Dileo – founder of Subsonica – and Erik Satie, in a play of lights, lightness and colors that really left you breathless . The choreography staged by Bolle was one of the most anticipated, as it combined technology and tradition, just as Roberto Bolle had predicted.
