Filming for Bridgerton 2 has begun and the first photos from the set appear on Instagram. To publish them is Luke Newton, actor who in the series plays the role of Colin, back in front of the cameras for the second season of the successful Netflix show.
The artist posted a shot in which he is on horseback next to Luke Thompson who in the TV series plays the role of Benedict, the second son of the Bridgerton family. The two smile and seem to have a lot of fun, anticipating something about the highly anticipated second season of the fiction. "The boy are back in town", wrote Newton, or "The boys are back in town". No trace instead of Jonathan Bailey, aka Anthony Bridgerton, who will be the great protagonist of the next episodes, as already announced.
The first season ended with the triumph of love between the Duke of Hastings and Daphne who finally became parents. In the second season, the hearts of viewers will beat Anthony who, after the farewell to Sienna, who has decided to leave him, will have to find the right woman for him. The Bridgertons' eldest son seems determined not to fall in love, but meeting a special girl – Kate – will change his plans. According to the first previews, the new Bridgerton episodes will be particularly captivating. The creator and showrunner of the series on the other hand is the famous Chris Van Dusen, while the executive producers are Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers.
“I read The Viscount who loved me – Jonathan Bailey confessed some time ago, speaking of the second season of Bridgerton -. I don't know what will happen, but the relationship described in the book is something I feel close to. Kate Sheffield is a brilliant character. When you love your character you find yourself hoping that she can meet extraordinary characters, and I hope mine can meet someone like Kate Sheffield. I thought the romance novels were all set on a beach, along with a glass of rosé. Instead, I found out more. Sexuality, intimacy and identity are everything. Especially, on the sidelines of a year like the one we went through. Certainly, therefore, we will return to celebrate them. Being able to look at these issues through the filter of a family has allowed us to find different ways to tell how a person experiences love, how they have sex, how they declare their commitment to their loved ones ".
