Brand ambassador of the fashion house starting from January 1st 2021 is the face of the Spring Summer 2021 campaign
Charlotte Casiraghi, the dream looks created by Chanel
A natural beauty and a high fashion brand symbol of timeless elegance: the result of these two elements put together is the new Chanel Spring Summer 2021 campaign that sees Charlotte Casiraghi in the role of model.
The news that Grace Kelly's granddaughter would be brand ambassador starting from January 1, 2021, had aroused much anticipation and the first photos show (once again) that the one between Charlotte Casiraghi and Chanel is a perfect match. After all, over time she has often shown off the look of the French maison, of which her mother Carolina of Monaco is also passionate. Added to this is the friendship that linked Karl Lagerfeld, longtime creative director of Chanel, with Charlotte.
The images of the Spring Summer 2021 campaign show us Charlotte Casiraghi in all her beauty wearing beautiful clothes from the fashion house. To portray her in different outfits, with shots taken in Munich, were the photographers Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
The announcement of the collaboration took place in December on Chanel's Instagram profile where they wrote: "By sealing a long relationship based on trust and friendship, started by Karl Lagerfeld and continued today by Virginie Viard, Charlotte Casiraghi will become ambassador and spokesperson for the Maison from 1 January 2021. It will embody the Spring-Summer 2021 Ready-to-Wear campaign and will present, together with Maison Chanel and Virginie Viard, Les Rendez-vous littéraires rue Cambon a project that perpetuates the unconditional love for literature of Gabrielle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld ”.
All accompanied by a shot from the set and a presentation video – interview with Charlotte Casiraghi as protagonist. Beautiful, with innate elegance and charm, graduated in philosophy, Grace Kelly's granddaughter is also president of the Rencontres philosophiques de Monaco association, founded by her in 2015, which deals with the promotion of philosophy.
In the shots that portray her for the Spring-Summer 2021 Ready-to-Wear campaign, all her beauty emerges, which is further enhanced while wearing Chanel creations.
Over the years she has often worn dresses from the French fashion house on the most important occasions: from the traditional Rose Ball, to the wedding of Uncle Albert of Monaco with Charlene Wittstock up to her own wedding, in June 2019, when she got married with Dimitri Rassam.
