Charlotte Casiraghi, 34, will be Chanel's brand ambassador from January 1, 2021. The second child of Carolina of Monaco will lend her beautiful face to the French maison, to which she has always been linked, thanks to her mother and deep friendship with Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019, legendary creative director of the brand.
Charlotte Casiraghi will also be the star of Chanel's next Spring Summer 2021 ready-to-wear campaign, shot by Inez and Vinoodh, right in the former Lagerfeld residence near Munich. Many commitments on the agenda of Grace Kelly's niece for the maison founded by Coco Chanel.
In fact, it will be present throughout 2021 at a series of meetings, called Les Rendezvous littéraires rue Cambon – Literary appointments in rue Cambon, which will host actresses, writers, famous women, friends of the maison. The first of these events is set for January 26th and it will be possible to follow them all on the official website and on Chanel's social networks.
To announce the agreement between the beautiful Charlotte, mother of two children Raphaël Elmaleh and Balthazar Rassam, is the prestigious fashion house on its Instagram profile where it shared a preview of a photo of the making of the spring-summer 2021 campaign in which Casiraghi is the protagonist. Charlotte wears a bouclé suit in black, pink and cream that so much recalls the style of her mother Carolina of Monaco, obviously revisited, as fashion experts note.
The comment reads: "By sealing a long relationship based on trust and friendship, begun by Karl Lagerfeld and continued today by Virginie Viard, Charlotte Casiraghi will become the Maison's ambassador and spokesperson from 1 January 2021". The shot was made by Inez & Vinoodh.
Already in 2012 Lagerfeld wanted to photograph Charlotte Casiraghi for the book The Little Black Jacket: Chanel's Classic Revisited made with Carine Roitfeld. The first Chanel look, worn by Carolina of Monaco's second child, dates back to at least 2005, when she was 19.
Charlotte, now a committed philosopher, is very attached to the fashion world. She was the testimonial of Gucci and Saint Laurent. The latter and the Chanel fashion house also signed her two wedding dresses when she said yes in 2019 to Dimitri Rassan.
Among the most beautiful dresses, signed Chanel, worn by Charlotte we also remember the creations for the Ballo della Rosa in 2013 and 2018, both played with pink feathers.
