The fibers promote intestinal transit and promote the disposal of waste, thus purifying the stomach and intestines. Its plant compounds have a wide field of application: several studies have shown the effectiveness of its gel as an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antitumor. It also appears to have benefits on digestive health and the treatment of overweight – although more research is needed in this area.

Garcinia cambogia, on the other hand, could have important anti-obesity properties: it regulates the levels of the hormone linked to the sense of satiety, decreases lipogenesis and contributes to the oxidation of fats. Also in this case, few studies have been carried out over the years, so we will have to wait for further confirmation.
