Do you know Harley Pasternak's 5-Factor Diet and 5-Factor Fitness regime? Several Hollywood divas have successfully experimented with it. Here is what it is.
The Adamski Diet explained in 5 points for a healthy intestine
5 meals, 5 foods, 5 exercises, 5 weeks: the number 5 is a constant in the Harley Pasternak regime. Do you know how its 5 factor Diet works?
5 meals a day, 5 foods on the plate
According to the Harley Pasternak 5 routine to avoid starvation and keep the glycemic index under control the correct number of meals per day is 5: 3 main meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and two snacks (mid-morning and mid-morning) afternoon). The distance between one meal and another is calculated by dividing the waking hours by 5.
In the main meals, in order to have a complete and balanced nutritional intake, on the plate there must be foods belonging to 5 different categories: proteins, low glycemic index carbohydrates, "good" fats, fiber and a sugar-free drink, like water or an unsweetened herbal tea.
Pasternak's book 5-Factor Diet lists a series of recipes that reflect these indications and meet another requirement: preparation takes a few minutes, no more than 5, cooking excluded, because it must be available to everyone, not just of skilled cooks and of those fortunate enough to have time to spend in the kitchen, otherwise the diet could be abandoned.
5 breaks, 5 weeks of diet
Pasternak's diet lasts 5 weeks (a period considered by the creator of the ideal program to obtain consistent, gradual and lasting results), during which it is possible (and must be) to take 5 breaks, one free day every seven di diet. This is because it is frustrating and difficult to always be attentive to what you eat. This is also a way to make the regime easier to follow, the stress is reduced and then every now and then the punching is good for the mood, I might as well take it into account instead of demonizing it.
5 exercises to stay in shape
The routine of the 5th provides for six-week workouts that consist of 5 sets of 5-minute exercises, explained in detail in Pasternak's 5-Factor Fitness volume. The training consists essentially of a group of cardiovascular exercises as a warm-up, a group to train the lower part of the body, another to work the upper part of the body, abdominals, and cardiofitness at the end. Considering 5 minutes per type of training, in total they are 25 minutes of physical activity.
