Analyzing their nutritional profile, there is also the presence of copper, a mineral which, on the other hand, is involved in the synthesis of hemoglobin. Also noteworthy is the content of selenium, another very powerful shield against the damage caused to the body by the activity of free radicals.

We could go on and on to talk about the benefits of squid! These molluscs are in fact also characterized by the presence of other antioxidants. Which exactly? Vitamin A, known for its contribution to improving visual efficiency, vitamin C and vitamin E.

Going back to minerals for a moment, it is appropriate to call into question the presence of calcium, a portentous ally of bone health, but also that of magnesium, fundamental for good blood coagulation and for the metabolism of lipids, carbohydrates and proteins. How can we not refer also to potassium, a mineral crucial for blood pressure regularity and, consequently, crucial for heart health?
