1) Strawberries. Among the typical spring fruits we undoubtedly find strawberries. Many wonder if these sweet and delicious fruits can be consumed on a diet or if on the contrary they make you fat. Having cleared the field of doubts, strawberries have a strong antioxidant value and counteract free radicals. Therefore perfect for skin health, even with the arrival of the first suns. Rich in anthocyanins, a type of flavonoid, responsible for their red color, strawberries are rich in vitamins and minerals. In particular, they contain the C vitamin, which is why they are useful for the immune system. In addition, they contain 90% water and are able to hydrate the skin and the body in general. Finally they are rich in fibers and give a sense of satiety helping against constipation. The only trick is to avoid them if you are allergic.

2) Medlar. Among the less common fruits we find medlars. A little sour but rich in nutritional properties. In particular they contain low in calories but high in fiber, such as pectin which performs a laxative and detox function. In the medlar, then, we find the potassium which allows to fight hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. Among the vitamins we find the TO useful for sight. Finally, they are low in calories and have a low glycemic index, therefore perfect for those on a diet.

3) Apricots. Low in calories but sweet and juicy and with firm flesh, we find apricots. Also perfect for making exquisite jams. They contain a fair amount of fibers and therefore they are capable, like other fruits, of stimulating the intestinal tract and promoting digestion. Rich in vitamin A and C, they have numerous antioxidant properties. Perfect for stimulating the immune defenses but also for fighting free radicals. They also contain many minerals including potassium, phosphorus, sodium, iron And soccer which make them valid allies against anemia and exhaustion typical of the hottest periods.

4) Cherries. The first cherries arrive already at the end of May, if the weather has been mild and sudden cold has not arrived. They are rich in anti-inflammatory and antioxidant substances. Compared to strawberries and medlars they contain more sugars but still have a low glycemic index so they can be consumed even if you are a diet, it is important as in everything to avoid abusing them. In addition, they are rich in mineral salts including potassium, magnesium and copper. But also vitamins, in particular C and also polyphenols and antioxidants. And then again soluble fibers that stimulate intestinal activity. However, the advice is to consume them separately and avoid eating them at the end of a meal or mixing them with other fruits because they are very fermenting.
