Harry challenges William and remembers Lady Diana: "Losing her left a hole in me"

Meghan Markle and Harry, William's anger and Kate Middleton's choice

Harry challenges William, remembering Lady Diana in a book to be released in Britain

Harry challenges William, returning to talk about mother Diana a few days after the interview with Oprah Winfrey. Lady D's second son recounted the experience of the loss, agreeing to write the preface of a book dedicated to children who have lost someone important to the Coronavirus.

Entitled Hospital By the Hill, the book was written by Chris Connaughton and illustrated by Fay Troote. It tells the story of a girl who loses her mother, engaged in the fight against Covid in the hospital. The manuscript will be given to young people and children who have faced grief during the pandemic, to bring some help and comfort. The initiative is part of the National Day of Reflection, the national day in which the blockade is celebrated in the United Kingdom.

Despite the distance from the Crown and the choice of the Queen to remove numerous titles from the Sussexes, Harry has kept his promise to take care of his country even from afar. In fact, the prince and his wife Meghan had guaranteed that they would continue to take part in charitable initiatives in Great Britain and they did. A gesture that, as the tabloids point out, certainly will not make William happy, already angry with his brother because of the statements made during the scandal-like interview.

In the book's preface, Harry recounts the grief over the loss of Diana when he was 12. “If you are reading this book, it is because you have lost your parents or a loved one – he wrote -, and although I wish I could hug you right now, I hope this story can give you comfort in knowing that you are not alone. When I was a kid, I lost my mother. At the time I didn't want to believe it or accept it, and it left a huge hole in me. I know how you feel and I want to assure you that over time that hole will be filled with so much love and support ”.

Harry has said several times that it was William who saved him after Diana's death. The heir to the throne never left his brother alone, later, thanks also to Kate Middleton, he managed to convince him to get help from psychotherapy. Today, however, that bond seems to have been broken due to the Megxit and increasingly greater and difficult to overcome misunderstandings.
