Strategic garments and crafty fantasies: here are some tips for dressing without looking too thin
Today I respond to Marina's request who asks me what to wear to avoid looking too thin. Here are some practical tips for you.
It is often led to think that being thin is always synonymous with being beautiful. Well, that's not always the case. You can lose weight for many reasons and, at times, these reasons could be independent of our will, because maybe we have no desire (or need) to lose weight and when we are thin we like us less (I know, because I lived it before person). So how to dress in such a way as to remain feminine, despite having new forms?
How to dress so as not to look too thin: fantasies
Fantasies can be very useful. Do you remember that I have often told you that a large pattern enlarges while a small one shrinks? Well, green light for maxi tartan, especially this season, with XXL flowers, maxi polka dots and so on.
How to dress so as not to look too thin: colors
As for the patterns, there are colors that optically dilate. It is known that "black runs", right? Well, similarly, light colors, such as white, cream, pastel, tend to widen.
How to dress so as not to look too thin: the cuts
Do not bundle up, even if you may be tempted. Instead, try to balance the volumes. A flared top, for example, will go perfectly with palazzo or cropped trousers, perhaps with a high waist. In this way you will break the figure, giving it movement. If you wear a shirt in the figure, perhaps combine it with a deconstructed jacket and carrot pants, which will help to enhance the waist and hips. Now, going for winter, play with overlays and layers: you will stay warm and minimize your slim physique.
How to dress so as not to look too thin: fabrics
Avoid wrapping fabrics, as they will mark you. Better to opt for more constructed and rigid fabrics, which lean less and help you optically create shapes and volumes.
