The parting of young people's hair? Central, but also the side or zigzag one, for a return to the 90s

There is a way to understand if you are still very young or if you are already over 30: just look at how you bring the parting to your hair. Well yes, it seems that the very young wear a strictly central parting of their hair, with straight or wavy hair with an iron. In fact, it is enough to open the social networks, Instagram and Tik Tok above all, to see girls and boys practically all with this type of line. But is it good for everyone? How to put the parting on straight hair? Are the side and zigzag lines still in fashion? And what to do if the parting of the hair is thinned?

The central parting, the favorite method of the very young to wear hair

From the social networks it emerged that it would be her, the central part of the hair, the chosen one among the very young under 30 years old. In fact, just think of children or grandchildren and the over 30s to notice how the latter prefer the side line instead, which teenagers seem not to like. So, if you want to immediately look more youthful just by changing a small detail, bringing the center line would already make a difference.

On long hair it is perfect if you wear it straight, but be careful if you have a long or oval face, because it could emphasize this feature because long straight hair with a central line exhausts and lengthens the face a lot. In this case it is better to wear the central line with wavy hair, making large waves with the iron, tighter curls or better still beach waves, or hair that looks like it has just dried at the sea.

The central line, however, is also perfect with various hairstyles and not just with loose hair. Try to create a low bun by creating the central part and then gathering the hair behind the neck, perhaps stopping it with a colored scrunchie, that is, the soft and wide fabric elastics, another great trend of the last period. Or, again, divide the hair in the center and behind the head and make boxer braids, which are also very fashionable in the very young.

The side parting, the best choice for those with naturally wavy hair or an elongated face

Fashion does not always go perfectly with one's physical characteristics, as in the case of a very elongated face. In this case, not everyone might like each other and here comes the side line. However, let's not think about the one we have always worn, but let's revisit it in a modern way. In fact, just make a side line that is not far from the center of the head: it will be almost like bringing it to the center, but the optical effect on an elongated face will be more harmonious.

Even on curly hair the central line is not functional, because this type of hair requires more volume and would tend to flatten the roots in the center, especially on long hair, which weighs more. In this case, the lateral line can also be more displaced and closer to the ear (but without exaggerating). This will create a volume effect on one side of the face, leaving the rest of the face more exposed for a more wild and carefree effect.

The zig zag line, a must have in the 90s

The zigzag line was successful for a limited period of time, then it almost completely disappeared. It is slowly coming back into fashion even if for the thirty-year-olds it remains synonymous with childhood. However, it is only recommended if you have straight and long hair or on a bob, to make more particular cuts that appear to be classic and regular. To make the zig zag line more modern, try to make space buns, i.e. divide the hair into two sections with a central zig zag line and then make buns on the sides of the head, positioning them at the top.

What to do if you have a thin parting of your hair?

Sometimes it happens, especially if you always wear the line in the center or always on the usual side, that it seems more thinned out, showing more skin. This often happens with the change of season, the period in which the hair weakens, or in the presence of vitamin deficiency. You can then take hair supplements, taking care before contacting a specialist. The ideal, then, is to change: you may like to follow fashion but in case of need it is better to switch from a central row to a lateral one or move the row from right to left and vice versa.

Glitter and center line – the perfect look for a party

The central line also lends itself to creating particular hairstyles, suitable for a party or for moments when you want to show your personality and creativity. Directly from the fashion catwalks, in fact, the central line can be embellished with glitter, rhinestones or pearls. To apply the glitter, simply mix them with gel with a good hold and apply the mixture along the entire line with a precision brush. In the same way, with very strong hold gels or, better still, with specific hair glues, you can apply single-color or colored rhinestones or pearls, refined and elegant if made even with a low ponytail.
