Hunger attacks are uncontrollable drives that kidnap us in unexpected moments and force us to munch on some forbidden delicacies and eat between meals, blowing up all our good dietary intentions. This urgent need, surely not dictated by a primordial survival instinct and which leads us to capitulate in the face of extremely fatty and unhealthy foods, is linked to an important nutritional deficiency. In fact, hunger attacks are a desperate request by our body for very specific nutrients and, according to one theory, it is possible to replace those specific "junk foods", for which you are literally starving, with other foods that are decidedly more healthy, filling the infamous hunger attack almost entirely!

There are also various buffer foods that help to strongly counteract crises by making you satisfied and reducing the production of hunger hormones. Raspberries, dried fruit, legumes and eggs are these allies against hunger attacks but, however, it is not always possible to have them on hand. Furthermore, it is not just a matter of curbing the crisis but of understanding that our body is acting up because it is in serious nutritional deficit which entails a psychophysical malaise of the person that must not be ignored. Therefore, hunger attacks should be considered and a variety of unpleasant events prevented. Nutritional deficiency can be linked to vitamins, minerals, iron, magnesium, iodine, manganese, sodium, potassium and many others.

These elements are essential for the regular functioning of our body, that's why when they are lacking we are in the throes of nervous hunger attacks to be satisfied as soon as possible. But, it is possible to minimize the tension of these ravenous crises by replacing the desired foods with healthier ones with the same properties. For example, if you want a piece of cheese strongly, there is a sharp drop in calcium and fatty acids also contained in the curly kale, a brassica with a versatile character that can be easily combined in the kitchen. Or, if you have an irresistible desire for chocolate, the deficiency in question is magnesium, remediable with flakes of dark cocoa, with an antioxidant and antidepressant power, and cereals rich in fiber, proteins and high nutritional energy thanks to starch .
