In these hectic days characterized by the return to school for many children, Kate Middleton and Prince William are also busy with their children George and Charlotte – the school they attend has in fact reopened its doors in recent days. And for them, it seems, there would be a special privilege.

Kate has always been a very caring mother and attentive to the well-being of her children, so much so that in the past there had been rumors of her opposition to a partial reopening of schools. A few months have passed since then, and for George and Charlotte it's time to resume classes: Thomas's Battersea has recently returned to welcome its students in the classroom, albeit with a different program – for example, the kids will have to give up swimming lessons.

The safety measures adopted to guarantee the maximum well-being to pupils and teachers are naturally very stringent. As royal expert Katie Nicholl reveals, parents were allegedly asked to leave the children outside the school gates to avoid crowds in the yard. However, it appears that Kate Middleton and Prince William still have the opportunity to accompany George and Charlotte to the doorstep of the school building.

Whether it is a small privilege granted by the institute or a rule that the Dukes of Cambridge have broken, what is certain is that the two Princes are back at school again. After months of homeschooling and the summer vacation period, George and Charlotte have a busy year ahead. The eldest son of the Royal Family is in his third year, and his curriculum becomes more and more complete. While Princess Charlotte is in the first year of her new school cycle after attending kindergarten and will soon start studying seriously.

Nicholl revealed that Kate and William's two older children would be very happy to finally get back to meeting their little friends. The long months spent in Norfolk – where the Dukes of Cambridge have a splendid estate – were certainly full of fun and lightheartedness, but George and Charlotte will certainly have appreciated the chance to see their schoolmates again. Of their first day, however, this year there is no photographic evidence: the Royal Family has not released the classic photo that usually immortalizes the Princes at the entrance to the institute.
