Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, Lady Diana: their favorite stylists

The first real style icon of the Royal Family was Lady Diana and now her daughters-in-law Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are following her footprints.

Today as then, every time they present themselves at some event, their outfit is literally snapped up. The three women contributed to the success of numerous fashion brands, sometimes unknown. Although in reality it is the great fashion houses that have defined their style and personality, transforming them into princesses.

Diana's myth was born thanks to the meeting with Gianni Versace in 1992. It is with him that Carlo's wife becomes Lady D. Before then the Princess of Wales had sported very British looks, made by British stylists, such as Victor Edelstein and Katherin Walker, which made her look a little awkward, a little old-fashioned with those Scottish fabrics, maxi dresses and maxi skirts with unimaginable colors. Even her wedding dress, by the Emanuel couple, today appears exaggeratedly pompous, although in the early 80's it was copied.

It is the Italian designer that the ugly duckling becomes a swan, although the transformation began thanks to Christina Stambolian, a designer of Greek origin, who for Diana made one of the most successful little black dresses in history.

Kate Middleton has already imposed her style on the day of her wedding with William. Her wedding dress, inspired by that of Grace Kelly, was made by Alexander McQueen. The success was such that the Duchess of Cambridge wore only her clothes during the most important institutional events. The English brand, on the catwalk very irreverent, for Kate is instead extremely refined and classic without renouncing modern cuts. Lady Middleton had the two clothes worn at the christenings of her children George and Charlotte made by the maison, she will probably also wear it for Louis' one on July 9th. Always McQueen has signed the clothes he wore for the wedding of his sister Pippa and for those of Harry and Meghan.

Jenny Packham is the other brand to which the Duchess of Cambridge is very attached. The looks used by Kate to present the royal baby to the world bear her signature. Instead for informal outfits Lady Middleton loves Zara. Among the Italian designers, the most popular are Dolce & Gabbana and Prada.

We now come to Meghan Markle. Despite being Harry's wife only recently, she has already made it clear that her favorite fashion house is Givenchy. The Duchess of Sussex wore French brand creations on her wedding day, during the trip with Queen Elizabeth and her Royal Ascot debut. Meghan brought the Line the Label brand to the fore when she showed up with a Canadian brand white coat for her engagement to Harry.
