Letizia di Spagna chooses pink and makes no mistake: the pleated skirt is stunning and hides a secret that we should all exploit
Letizia of Spain begins her week by participating in the closing ceremony of the XII Call for Social Projects promoted by Banco Santander. The Queen dresses in pink and makes no mistake.
After the light blue skirt by Hugo Boss, a true iconic piece of her wardrobe, Letizia opts for another pastel color, despite the autumn season. The Sovereign chooses pink and shows off one of her most beautiful looks. Everything is perfect in her outfit, starting with the candy coat, a bon ton outerwear, signed Carolina Herrera in worsted wool.
We move on to the sweater, always pink, which combines with a splendid long pleated skirt, pink and black, with iridescent shades. The model recalls the one worn a short time ago at the National Fashion Award. Back then it was a powder-colored skirt that the fluffy wind made dangerously snug.
This time the pencil skirt plays on shades. From the English brand Reiss, Letizia already wore it last March just before the spring lockdown. The skirt hides a trick to enhance the line. In fact, leaving the darker shades in the hips area to gradually lighten to almost white at the hem, creates a slender effect that emphasizes even more the toned and slender physique of the Queen.
Again, the Queen recycles the garments of her wardrobe regardless of the seasons, but she knows how to combine them with class with the right accessories in order to make them always portable.
So here she is enhancing the waistline with a black leather belt by Burberry, holding a refined pink and black clutch by Magrit in her hands and putting on the beautiful décolletées with a thin and very high heel, not to say killer, by Manolo Blahnik that obviously wears without socks, despite being November.
The look is an exaltation of femininity, but at the same time it does not exaggerate with frills and bon ton themes. The combination of black avoids the candy effect that the use of pink could easily create.
