Low blood pressure, positive effects of magnesium and potassium

To combat low blood pressure and its symptoms, try filling up with magnesium and potassium

Magnesium and potassium can help us counter low blood pressure and find the right sprint to face the day.

These precious minerals are essential for the well-being of the whole organism, especially in summer, when we sweat much more because of the heat, but also in winter, when excessive stress causes us tiredness and nervousness. Not by chance are considered among the best remedies against hypotension.

Magnesium is an essential mineral responsible for the transmission of muscle and nerve impulses in the body. It contributes to the absorption of potassium, calcium, vitamin E and C, improving the metabolic processes that affect the cardiovascular and immune system.

It protects the kidneys, preventing the formation of stones, alleviates menstrual pain, protects the body from diabetes and gives a luminous and healthy skin. Its benefits also concern pressure, as a lack of magnesium can cause dizziness, nausea and fatigue, all symptoms of hypotension.

To take it in the right quantities, include whole grains, fish and dairy products in the diet. Also fill up with lentils, bitter cocoa, dried fruit, buckwheat and green leafy vegetables. Among the foods rich in magnesium we find dried algae agar, followed by seeds, mushrooms, basil, curry, mint and saffron.

Also potassium is fundamental for the well-being of our body and to improve pressure, since it intervenes in almost all vital functions. It regulates osmotic pressure, water retention and heart rhythm, controlling arterial pressure.

To best take it, bring plenty of fruit and vegetables to the table, especially kiwis, bananas, apricots, figs, citrus fruits, grapes and plums. There is also plenty of space for tomatoes, asparagus, artichokes, broccoli, green leafy vegetables, envy, lettuce, potatoes, soy, legumes, spinach, rocket and cabbage. To counteract hypotension in the right way, take a good amount of whole grains, chicken and nuts, such as almonds, peanuts, hazelnuts, peanuts and pistachios.

Magnesium and potassium are found in large quantities in water, so it is always better to take at least two and a half liters a day, even in the form of tea, centrifuges and herbal teas.
