Maria De Filippi shows her more tender side and talks about her son Gabriele Costanzo and her desire to soon become a grandmother
Very good at interviewing others and at stealing even the most hidden feelings, Maria De Filippi rarely tells the details of her private life. This time, however, the famous presenter let herself go and, by revealing some details about her work and talking about her son Gabriele, she also revealed one of her greatest wishes.
It has been 25 years since Maria De Filippi said yes to Maurizio Costanzo. A long and solid love story, theirs, which has never known real crises. This was revealed by the same presenter who, at the weekly Gente, declared that she had never even remotely thought of leaving her husband and was also grateful to him for the successes obtained during his career.
It was my life Maurizio – he said -, it is my life every day. It is my only love.
Sweet words, which become even more tender when he talks about his son Gabriele, adopted in 2004 at the age of 13, who recently left the family home to live with his girlfriend. A decision that, while causing a feeling of emptiness in De Filippi, made her extremely happy:
Gabriele went to live with his girlfriend, I'm happy. I also pushed him a little to take this step, I wanted him to take responsibility as an adult. But that evening when he left the house I was moved. The void is there, I don't deny it.
The affection that binds them has obviously remained unchanged. The two continue to see each other daily and have lunch together as Gabriele works for Fascino, the television production company of the presenter. Family dinners are not uncommon, which take place at least three times a week. Finally, De Filippi also confessed her dream of becoming a grandmother:
I'd love to, I'd be crazy for it.
In short, De Filippi, whose professionalism and great dedication to her work is known, has also shown her being a wife, still madly in love after 25 years of marriage, and an attentive and caring mother. Will Gabriele Costanzo fulfill the presenter's wish by giving her a nephew?
