Maturity is just around the corner and diet also plays a fundamental role to better face the exam, thanks to foods that increase concentration.

During the long hours on the books in fact the graduates need particular nutrients to improve memory and learn at best. First it is important not to skip breakfast, to avoid tiredness and weakness during the study. Put on the table fresh fruit, milk or yogurt with cereals, but also whole wheat bread with honey and jam. Include foods rich in minerals and vitamins in the daily diet to improve memory, such as whole grains, legumes, chard, artichokes, spinach, zucchini, chicken, bresaola, eggs, bananas and turkey, rich in magnesium. Excellent also the oily fruit, the green cabbage and the spinach, to make full of zinc, and the cucumbers, the mushrooms, the white meat, to take the right amount of selenium.

Fill up on Omega 3 and DHA by eating salmon, herring, mackerel and tuna. Finally do not forget the vitamins: those of group A (asparagus, carrots, broccoli, endive, melon, lettuce, red peppers and tomatoes), group C (citrus fruits, cabbage, strawberries, kiwi, raspberries and black currants), group E (present in all vegetable oils, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts and pistachios), group B (soy, vegetables, radicchio).

The evening before the high school exam, it is essential not to strain digestion, having dinner no later than 20.30. Eat especially dishes that promote the rest and release of cortisol, such as bananas, fish, chicken, but also yoghurt, honey, rice and wholemeal pasta. On the day of the question, it is important to increase concentration and give the brain a new sprint by taking a piece of dark chocolate, an excellent stimulant that makes you reactive.

Also excellent are the eggs, which awaken the mind, improving the transmission of nerve impulses, and green tea, an antioxidant that combats tiredness. Finally, do not miss the water, to be consumed before and during the maturity test, to avoid dehydration, a great enemy of concentration.
