Beatrice of York will move in with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in Nottingham Cottage, formerly inhabited by Prince Harry and Meghan
Meghan Markle, the house she lived in as a child for sale
It's official, Meghan Markle steps aside and Beatrice of York takes advantage of it: the Princess will go to live with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace, previously inhabited by Prince Harry and Meghan.
The Queen's favorite niece will thus become the neighbor of her sister Eugenia, residing at Ivy Cottage with her husband Jack Brooksbank, and of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who live in the super apartment overlooking Hyde Park, together with George, Charlotte and Louis.
Although between Kate and Beatrice there does not seem to be a real affectionate relationship, many subjects hope that the two women of the court can gradually become friends, once they have the opportunity to spend more time together.
Excellent news, therefore, for the ninth in line of succession: after a hasty honeymoon and the inability to spend the holidays in the Scottish residence of the royal family with her sister and Queen Elizabeth, Beatrice can smile again alongside her dear grandmother and Eugenia in the romantic villa. The newly weds, therefore, will soon leave the prestigious St. James Palace in London, thus preferring the family intimacy of the royal estate.
In fact, Sarah Ferguson's two daughters have a very special bond and both try to spend as much time as possible with their grandmother Elizabeth. Not surprisingly, Beatrice did everything to ensure that at least the Queen was present at her wedding, choosing to honor her by wearing the dress and tiara that Elizabeth wore when she married Prince Philip in 1947.
On the other hand, this tender relationship between grandchildren and grandmother could also explain the behaviors that Beatrice and Eugenia would have had towards the "black sheep" of the house, or rather Harry and Meghan: according to the Mirror, the dukes of Sussex would have complained of be treated differently by some members of the royal family, including the daughters of Andrea and Sarah Ferguson.
Also for this reason Meghan and Harry would have flown to the United States, in order to avoid further conflicts with the other royals, as well as being closer to their new work commitments. After all, Beatrice and Edoardo also made the same reasoning, who preferred to stay near London, despite the different estates available to them around Europe.
This way, the couple can more easily take care of their multimillion-dollar businesses based in the capital of Great Britain, as well as – of course – be closer to the family.
