Met Gala: what is the theme for the 2023 edition?
The Met Gala is a high fashion event where the most popular stars meet wearing whimsical and eccentric clothes, based on a very specific theme that is decided on the basis of the active exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum. For this year, the Met Gala will be dedicated to the retrospective A Line of Beauty, dedicated to the late Karl Lagerfeld. Inside, you can visit rooms with more than 150 garments made by the master from 1954 to 2019; the exhibit will open on May 5, 4 days after the Met event, which will be held today, the first of the month.
When and where to see the Met Gala
The Met Gala livestream is hosted by Vogue, and therefore will be broadcast live on all the magazine’s social pages, from Facebook to Twitter, from Youtube to Instagram. Streaming will be active from half past midnight on the night between May 1st and 2nd.
The invited celebrities
Like every year, the guest list of invited stars is unknown: the mystery, however, is almost certainly tinged with Kardashian, Hadid and Jenner, the triad of American it girls of the moment.
