The analysis took into account around ten hashtags that young lovebirds could associate with an engagement announcement on the social network such as #Capitalproposal, #Capitalengagement, #Capitallove, #Capitallovers, #Engagedincapital, #Capitalengagementphotographer, #Capitalmarryme or # Capitallovestory. For the Portuguese capital, we are talking about 1.04 million hashtags linked to a marriage proposal.
In the end, requests are first made in Lisbon, particularly in Portas do Sol which offers a romantic panorama for a formal request. Secondly, lovers choose London before planning a trip to Paris.
