SIU experts advise limiting the consumption of animal fats, alcohol and spirits, preferring instead, foods containing antioxidants such as vitamin A (carrots, apricots, spinach, broccoli, tomatoes), vitamin C (currants, kiwis, citrus fruits, strawberries , blueberries, cauliflowers, peppers), vitamin E (olive oil, vegetable oils, wheat germ), selenium (meat, nuts, egg yolk), zinc (red meats, walnuts, liver).

Some foods, however, including chocolate, as well as coffee, pepper, dairy products, spicy molecules, sausages, alcohol and fried foods, if consumed in excessive quantities, can have a potentially irritating effect, therefore inflammatory, especially on the prostate. So be careful.
