An immortal diva: this and much more was Raffaella Carrà, who will be celebrated on Rai1 by her friend Carlo Conti
Raffaella Carrà, the loves and career of the Italian TV icon
Her smile, her eyes and the inevitable blonde bob. The memory of Raffaella Carrà is still engraved in our hearts and in those she has known throughout her life. Thus, the tributes by Rai to the immortal diva continue, to the one who – for the first time on TV – raised the image of women by freeing herself from taboos and absurd constraints.
The upcoming celebrations were announced by Carlo Conti, the leading face of Rai1, who decided to dedicate the entire edition of Tale and Which Show to Raffaella Carrà. These are the words of the Tuscan conductor to RadiocorriereTv:
"Tale e Quali is the first variety that resumes on Rai1 after the summer and will be entirely dedicated to Raffaella. The program that has the word show in its title is first of all a variety and Raffaella was an absolute queen of this genre. I also like to remember other protagonists who left us this year such as Gianfranco D'Angelo and Paolo Beldì ".
After all, it couldn't be otherwise. Rai and its studios have been his home for many years, until the last program for Rai3, entitled A Raccount Comincia Tu. Actress, showgirl and presenter, Raffaella Carrà has left a huge void in the world of entertainment and television, which has lost one of its main exponents.
Since his death, the tributes have followed one after the other. Rai has in fact decided to postpone the first episodes of Carramba Che Sorpresa, while Techetecheté has dedicated a very long series of specials to the artist from Romagna. The heritage contained in the national TV cases is in fact endless among variety shows, television programs and the Sanremo Festival, which it conducted with the participation of Fiorello.
Just when Rai decides for a new tribute, his great love – Sergio Japino – is making a journey to the places of Raffaella Carrà's heart, first to Monte Argentario and then to San Giovanni Rotondo, to the tomb of San Pio da Pietrelcina to whom she was particularly devoted. By his will, the artist will rest in the Argentario, the place he had chosen for his good retreat.
