Raimondo Todaro returns home: "If it were up to me I would start today"

There is great anticipation for Raimondo Todaro's return to Dancing with the Stars

This new edition of Dancing with the Stars got off to a cracking start – perhaps too much. In fact, from the very first days there have been some small incidents that have undermined the tranquility of Milly Carlucci's talent show. The most important “setback” is certainly the one experienced by Raimondo Todaro, who now seems ready to get back on track.

The dancer, who this year is paired with Elisa Isoardi, has in fact undergone an emergency operation to resolve what appeared to be a minor health problem. Shortly after the end of the first episode of Dancing with the Stars, in fact, Raimondo suffered abdominal pain due to appendicitis and the doctors intervened immediately. The operation was supposed to last 20 minutes, but complications arose that kept Todaro under the knife for about 3 hours. Naturally, the hospitalization was also affected: instead of the usual 2/3 days foreseen in this case, the dance teacher remained in the hospital for a whole week.

Only Monday, September 28, Raimondo was finally able to go home, and he immediately revealed to his fans that he felt ready to start training again alongside Elisa Isoardi. "If it were up to me I would start today" – he confessed in his Instagram stories, then reiterating it live to the microphones of Today is another day, interviewed by Serena Bortone. “Milly Carlucci is always very careful, so we will find out day after day, they want everything to be quiet”. Therefore, nothing is yet known about his return to Ballando, because the production wants to go there with lead feet.

At the moment, uncertainty remains about the future of the couple formed by Raimondo and Elisa: during the last episode, Isoardi performed alone in a freestyle, conquering the jury and the public. A scene that thrilled everyone, which took place under the watchful – and slightly moved – eyes of Todaro still in his hospital bed. Despite some difficulties, the former host of La Prova del Cuoco thus managed to stay in the race, taking advantage of a small quibble of the Ballando regulation. But it is not yet clear what will happen on the next appointment, as her dance teacher has not yet resumed with training.

We just have to wait a few more days to find out how the situation will evolve. Meanwhile, Elisa Isoardi remembers her solo dance on Instagram: "A woman can also dance alone when needed" – she revealed. However, it also looks forward to Todaro's return.
