Gigi Hadid, the most famous model in the world, donated the cachet of the fashion shows to people affected by the war in Ukraine: “Eyes and heart open to all human injustices”
Beautiful like Gigi Hadid: the best products
Beautiful and with a big heart: Gigi Hadid, one of the most famous and requested models in the world (together with her sister Bella), among other things of Palestinian origin and therefore always attentive to issues related to minorities and refugees in the world, has decided to donate the cachet of the recent Fashion Week shows to people affected by the war in Ukraine.
Gigi Hadid, heart of gold: cachet donated to Ukraine
The 26-year-old supermodel shared a series of snaps from the latest fashion shows revealing that she was making a considerable contribution to helping refugees and displaced from war. Gigi explained that, despite her privileged work on and off the runways, it was also her responsibility to “give back”, and she was doing so by donating all of her earnings from the Fall-Winter 2022 shows to Ukrainian organizations.
Gigi Hadid, the post that moved
With a post published on his social accounts, Gigi explained his decision. “Having a set schedule of work during Fashion Month means that my colleagues and I often present new fashion collections during heartbreaking and traumatic periods in history. We do not have control over most of our work commitments, but we would like to walk “for” something. Following in the footsteps of my friend @micarganaraz, I pledge to donate my fall-winter 2022 parade earnings to help those suffering from the war in Ukraine, as well as continuing to support those living the same in Palestine. Our eyes and our hearts must be open to all human injustices. May all see us brothers and sisters, beyond politics, beyond race, beyond religion. At the end of the day, innocent lives pay the price of war, not the leaders.
HANDS OFF TO UKRAINE. HANDS OUT OF PALESTINE. PEACE. PEACE. PEACE. 🕊
