Staying fit can become very simple if you can eat less than 100 calories per snack. In fact, at the basis of a healthy diet there are five meals: a breakfast, the two main meals (lunch and dinner) and two snacks. Often, however, it can become difficult to organize healthy and low-calorie snacks and we are reduced to eating packaged products rich in sugars, fats and calories. The snack instead can be the right occasion to eat one of the five daily fruit portions recommended by experts.
If you are away from home, you can try to carry a bag of dried fruit comfortably with you. You can choose between almonds, walnuts or hazelnuts but, to eat less than 100 calories, it is important not to exceed 15 g. Another way to eat fruit during your snacks is to prepare a slice of bread, white or even better whole wheat, with a teaspoon of jam. Even an excellent fruit yogurt, possibly low-fat, can become an excellent snack. Finally, a fruit that is a friend of the line is kiwi. Kiwis in fact give a sense of immediate satiety, they are also rich in water, fiber and potassium.
If you can't give up carbohydrates and you love salty snacks don't worry, you can choose to eat a slice of bread (around 30 g) with 15 g of a low-fat sliced meat or 10 g of an always low-fat cheese. If, on the other hand, you have problems assimilating gluten, you can take advantage of an ally in our body, quinoa. This food has many beneficial properties: it is rich in protein, fiber, minerals and vitamins, and allows you to eat less than 100 calories.
Alongside these obviously healthy foods there are some unsuspected ones that will satisfy even the sweet tooth. Among these we find popcorn! In fact 22 grams of corn grains, without oil or butter, allow you to have a very tasty snack without exceeding the 100 calorie threshold! Another tasty snack is ice cream. In fact, it is possible to eat up to one and a half scoops of fruit ice cream or a scoop of chocolate. Finally, if you love chocolate you can choose dark chocolate (about 3 squares), rich in antioxidants and mineral salts.
