Weddings, bars and clubs: the rules in the white zone from 1 June

All the rules and provisions for a safe restart from 1st June: what can be done and what not in the white zone

Italy restarts. After weeks of color zones, the Nation is preparing a slow return to normality, favored by the good progress of the vaccination plan, open to the entire population after the overcoming of the band system.

The regions in the white zone, from 31 May 2021, are three. From 1 June, however, the rules on restaurants have changed and will finally be able to remain open all day and with the availability of tables even indoors. The ordinance of the Minister of Health anticipates reopening for areas with a lower level of risk and, therefore, the one in which the virus circulates least.

In the new provisions, the rules for weddings are also clarified, even in the white area. In fact, the green pass will be required throughout Italy, after there was talk of its possible abolition for ceremonies organized in low-risk areas.

White zone and curfew

The curfew in the yellow zone is still in force, set from 11pm to 5am until June 6. From 7 June, it will be extended from 24 to 5, while it will be abolished starting from 21 June. In the white zone, the curfew is canceled.

White area and restaurants

The reopening of the restaurants is linked to the declaration of a maximum number of simultaneous presences, established on the basis of the relationship between volumes of space and air changes. Each activity must then guarantee adequate hand sanitization products, in several points, for customers and staff of the venue.

The obligation to spacing the tables remains, which must be at least one meter indoors. This distance can be extended to at least two meters, depending on the epidemiological risk scenario. In outdoor environments, therefore in gardens, terraces, stalls, dehors, it must be at least 1 meter long. There is no distancing between relatives. The maximum number of diners per table also skips, as long as the required distances are maintained.

The buffets are also back but with the administration service entrusted to the staff in charge. Customers cannot touch the exhibits and must make sure they keep a distance of at least one meter, as on other occasions. Customers can serve themselves only with single-dose packaged products.

White area and weddings

The green pass is also mandatory in the white area. We remind you that the certificate is issued to those who have passed the Coronavirus for no more than 6 months, by those who are vaccinated and by those who have performed a swab with negative results in the previous 48 hours. The number of people per table is free, as long as the distance is respected. Musical performances are allowed as long as a distance of at least 3 meters from the public is maintained.

What happens to discos

All discos and dance halls reopen in the white area but only to listen to music and drink. The dance floors still remain closed.
