What happened to Grazia Di Michele

Che fine ha fatto Grazia Di Michele

After the experience in the talent Amici, Grazia Di Michele continued to devote herself to teaching. On March 8 he presented a new women's project

Grazia Di Michele is a successful singer-songwriter, who in recent years we have appreciated as a teacher in the talent Amici Di Maria De Filippi. Although he has not been part of the cast since 2015, the singing teacher has remained in the hearts of many fans and in any case in recent years he has never abandoned music, his greatest love.

Di Michele is a lady of Italian music, with a capital "s". A refined performer who has always stood out for her class and talent of true value. Since she left the TV she has made some dreams come true without ever stopping even for a moment. As stated in an interview with Vanity Fair in 2019, he proudly graduated in law at the age of 57. Before reaching this important milestone, he also taught singing and music therapy at the Conservatory of L'Aquila and directed the Academy of Modern Singing of the Nocera Terinese Conservatory, in the province of Catanzaro.

Grazia Di Michele has a true vocation for teaching, so much so that even today she is a teacher at the GDM Academy in L'Aquila and travels all over Italy with seminars and singing masterclasses. But the singer-songwriter – famous for songs like Gauguin's girls with whom she participated in the Sanremo Festival – is a true force of nature and never ceases to surprise. In 2019 he simultaneously released his first novel, Apollonia, and his 15th album Sante Bambole Puttane. In all this he also found the time to return to the Ariston stage alongside Mauro Coruzzi (aka Platinette): in 2015 the two friends presented the song I am a window, a song of extreme sensitivity that addresses the themes of transsexuality and the fight against homotransphobia.

On 8 March 2021, on the occasion of the International Day of Women's Rights, Grazia Di Michele released the single Anime di vetro. A song that is part of a larger all-female project involving colleagues and friends Rossana Casale and Mariella Nava. Three splendid voices and prestigious artists who describe women and their many facets. Strength, fragility, sensitivity and courage: that mix that makes them truly special and for which they deserve to be valued. Against any form of (unfortunately) discrimination is still alive.

But the project of the three songwriters is not limited only to record production. Grazia Di Michele, Rossana Casale and Mariella Nava will be involved in a tour in which they will involve some young Italian singer-songwriters, to promote and give the right space to the female songwriter. There are 20 young artists who are currently part of this new Italian school of songwriting, which is proposed as a laboratory in constant evolution and a space for comparison for women who want to dedicate their lives to songwriting. A project perfectly in line with the great sensitivity of Grazia Di Michele, the same one she had already shown to Amici di Maria De Filippi, breaking through the hearts of many students. And of course the fans.

Unfortunately, the singer-songwriter is going through a very unpleasant period. Guest of Eleonora Daniele at Storie Italiane just to present the single Anime Di Vetro together with her travel companions, Di Michele said that her 24-year-old son and her husband contracted Covid 19 and were really very bad. Very painful and difficult months and still the nightmare does not seem to want to end. The singer-songwriter confessed that unfortunately her husband is still hospitalized, although he is no longer positive, because he still suffers from the complications of the disease.
