With a planned investment of $ 3 million for the first three years, Woolrich Outdoor Foundation embraces the great cause of environmental and social sustainability.
Returning two hundred years of inspiration to the environment, contributing to the preservation of forests, seas and the urban environment. Woolrich is the oldest American outdoor clothing brand and has chosen the path of sustainable gratitude towards the main source of inspiration of the brand: the Planet.
Thus was born the Woolrich Outdoor Foundation, an ambitious project in collaboration with 1% for the Planet, the association that helps finance environmental organizations.
Through this new project, Woolrich wants to protect and safeguard outdoor spaces for communities around the world.
In partnership with 1% for the Planet, Woolrich will donate one percent of the proceeds (from single-brand stores and e-commerce) to support environmental projects for three major themes: the redevelopment of urban spaces, the protection of forests and the safeguarding of ribs.
Woolrich's donations will be distributed 50% in monetary contributions and the remaining 50% in products, volunteer hours, services or advertising and communication activities.
With a planned investment of $ 3 million for the first three years, WOOLRICH OUTDOOR FOUNDATION embraces the great cause of environmental and social sustainability.
Its support is aimed at guaranteeing mental and physical well-being to the most vulnerable communities through urban regeneration projects, to the fight against global warming through reforestation and forest protection projects around the world, to organizations active in the defense of the coastal environment, as well as to educational activities to train more aware and responsible citizens of sustainability.
