The Torque-Vectoring all-wheel drive system is an advanced version of the Ardis intelligent system developed by Jaecoo.
- Torque-Vectoring provides instant response and adaptation to any type of terrain. Electronics react to changes in road conditions in a split second, allowing torque to be distributed between the front and rear axles. This system is capable of directing up to 100% of the traction to the wheel with the best grip. This feature helps to overcome difficult off-road sections, since in this case the torque can reach 1800 Nm.

Torque-Vectoring can be controlled by selecting one of seven driving modes: Eco, Comfort, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand and Off-Road. Depending on the mode, the operating algorithms of the car's main systems change.
- When driving on loose snow or sand, Torque-Vectoring adjusts traction to eliminate the possibility of digging in due to wheel spin. Electronics dose the supply of torque, helping the car move smoothly from a standstill.
- The system also allows you to take turns faster and more safely. It regulates traction depending on the difference in grip between the wheels, improving road holding. In addition, the turning radius of a crossover equipped with Torque-Vectoring is reduced, which helps when maneuvering in tight spaces.

- Fuel savings are achieved by automatically disengaging torque transmission to the rear axle. When the speed exceeds 40 km/h for more than 5 seconds, the electronics switch the transmission to single-drive mode.
- In addition, this measure helps reduce noise and vibration at high speeds.
“On average, Torque-Vectoring provides 5% fuel savings compared to standard all-wheel drive systems,” the company said.
