An assortment of charcuterie platters from the Maison Milhau brand is being recalled for suspicion of enterotoxins that may be produced by the presence of coagulase-positive staphylococci. Do not consume this product!

This product is recalled because there is suspicion of enterotoxins that may be produced by the presence of coagulase-positive staphylococci. According to the food safety platform, staphylococcal enterotoxins are proteins excreted by certain staphylococci, they are formed in food during meal preparation and remain a major cause of human contamination of food origin.
If ingested, severe nausea and vomiting may begin 2 to 8 hours after ingestion, usually followed by abdominal cramping and diarrhea. Poisoning is generally brief, often resolving within <12 hours. The most fragile people are at greater risk of complications.
People who have consumed these products and who present symptoms are invited to consult their doctor and report this consumption.
The product should not be consumed and destroyed. A refund is provided at the point of sale. This recall procedure will end on June 22, 2024.
