The Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) reports on its portal “www.lebensmittelwarnung.de” about a recall for the food supplement “Mixed Herbal Blend Paste' & 'Herbal Blend mixed Paste' – Plus Natural Herbal – Honey Herbal Paste from a manufacturer in Turkey. The product should not be taken under any circumstances.
Contains medicinal substances
Affected by the recall is the product 'Mixed Herbal Blend Paste' & 'Herbal Blend mixed Paste' – Plus Natural Herbal – Honey Herbal Paste (all best before dates and all batches) from the manufacturer Naturals Bitkisel Ürünler Yavuz Sultan Selim Mh., Mevalana Cd. 57, 11 Körfez, Kocaeli, Turkey.
The company that placed the product on the market is Plus Natural Herbal Products, Weinstr. 14/2, 74172 Neckarsulm. The dietary supplement was sold via Amazon and www.naturellplus.de.
As the BVL writes, the product contains the undeclared drugs sildenafil, paracetamol and tadalafil.
In a statement from Plus Natural Herbal Products, it is stated that an order from the Heilbronn District Veterinary Office states that the article is classified as hazardous to health.
The product contains sildenafil, a substance that can have negative health effects if ingested, the letter states.
