Aimé Leon Dore
- Designer: Teddy Santis
- Distinctive feature: the combination of simple and functional design with elements of street culture and classics
Teddy Santis presented his first Aime Leon Dore collection in January 2014. The name of the brand contains three words that are important to the designer: “Aimé” translates as “beloved”, “Leon” — “lion”, from his father’s nickname in childhood, “Dore” — the last syllable of his full name Theodore. Santis has a philosophical attitude towards the brand: he wants not only to create clothes, but to build a platform that will help customers of all ages and views learn something new. But his greatest passion is for basketball, which he actively integrates into his design. His favorite technique is multi-layering of seemingly basic items: thanks to textures, prints, bright colors and a mix of classic items with sportswear, it gives that wow effect.
Commas
- Designer: Richard Jarman
- Distinctive feature: beach and other clothing made from high-quality fabrics with beautiful embroidery and elegant prints
The history of the Commas brand began with a bang: it was the first swimwear brand from Australia to participate in Pitti Uomo in 2017. Three years later, Vogue Paris named the project a leader in its category, and founder Richard Jarman was awarded the title of Emerging Designer of the Year by the Australian Fashion Laureate 2021. And if at first the assortment could only be found in products created for swimming, now the project can boast a wide selection of men's models – from linen shirts and knitwear to jackets and two-piece suits that are ideal for everyday and office life, as well as evening walks with friends.
Darkpark
- Designers: Maurizio Purificato and Inna Gerchikova
- Distinguishing feature: mystery and underground aesthetics
The Italian denim brand, hiding behind a dark name, appeared in 2021. Having released the first collection of jeans, the founders of the brand did not limit themselves to just one category. Updated versions of classic Harrington jackets, cotton and leather shirts, tracksuits made of distressed fabric, cargo with prints are just a small part of what the Darkpark collection currently consists of. Rare items with an avant-garde design also appear in drops, for example, cropped bomber trench coats and trousers with mesh inserts. But jeans remain the perfect base for all occasions: a simple cut and basic colors allow you to integrate them into any look, making it modern due to interesting details.
Juun.J
- Designer: Jung Wook Jun
- Distinguishing feature: Underground haute couture with an emphasis on silhouette and structure
South Korean designer Jung Wook Jun took his first steps in fashion in 1999, when he presented his first brand, Lone Costume. But his bright debut happened only eight years later with the Juun.J show in Paris. Jung combines in his works directions that seem impossible to combine with each other – street style and tailoring. The brand attracts customers with a line of hoodies made of various materials in unusual colors, underground shoes with massive soles, products made of functional fabrics, for example, the collection includes nylon shirts that are not afraid of moisture. The brand will appeal to those who like to be different from others and lead an active lifestyle, conquering street style.
