The founder of the Bemônt beauty house talks about French influence and motivation

Varvara Mazaraki combined two areas in her space: cosmetology and wellness. One of the main goals was also to create a place that would not resemble a hospital or a standard beauty salon. Bemônt is distinguished by a thoughtful design inspired by France and classic style, a pool of doctors (to get to a beauty specialist, you first need to go through doctors) and a park of equipment. Attention is also paid to the little things that play an important role in how the guest feels. For example, there is a kitchen where any dish will be prepared for the guest, and there is its own valet parking.

How did you come up with the idea to create Bemônt?

The idea was born in my youth. Visiting beauty salons, I always dreamed of a place where I could get all the services at once: manicure, pedicure, haircut and facial treatment. This is only a small part of what I wanted to see in one space. Often I had to run from one salon to another, wasting time and energy.

Today, the Bemônt House of Beauty and Longevity (13/5 Maliy Novopeskovskiy Pereulok) employs specialists in all areas, they do everything from hair care to complex cosmetic procedures. It was also extremely important that the masters and specialists were aware of all the latest developments, so they regularly undergo training and follow industry trends.

Tell us more about what French hospitality is and why you chose it as the basis for your space?

French hospitality includes a rich culture, traditions and meticulous attention to detail that manifests itself in many different aspects of life. When it comes to design, houses and apartments in France have a special charm. They harmoniously combine vintage items, modern technology and eye-catching details. The interior is usually built around elegance and comfort. And our space is designed to make clients feel as relaxed as possible.

It has been said for a long time that Europe has one of the strongest beauty industries. Which other country's industry surprised you and why?

In my opinion, there is no salon industry culture abroad, but in Europe it is a whole ritual, not only for girls, but also for men. Last year, when I was in Paris, I visited the Carita beauty house, with which we had a similar philosophy. The place is conducive to relaxation, but I was upset that there was no one in the space except me.

How is Bemônt different from its competitors?

Bemônt is a place where guests think not only about beauty, but also about health. The range of services is designed so that clients can take care of beauty both inside and out every day. It was important for us to create an atmosphere not just of a salon, but of a specialized space where every request will not go unnoticed. Our philosophy is attention to detail, individual approach and sincere care. This is what distinguishes us from others.

What are the most popular treatments at Bemônt?

We have not only a beauty treatment area, but also an impressive range of equipment: from a body analyzer and ultrasound liposuction to mesotherapy and infusion therapy. In addition, the spa area with a hammam, Charcot shower and various massages and wraps are very popular.

What does beauty mean to you?

When we talk about beauty, we usually think of images from glossy magazines: perfect proportions, flawless skin and impeccable makeup. But real beauty is much deeper and more multifaceted. For me, it starts with confidence – not only external, but also internal. This is when you know your strengths and know how to highlight them. This does not necessarily mean following the latest fashion trends. Inner confidence is also about understanding yourself, your desires and goals. The ability to make decisions without fear of judgment from others. Inner confidence allows us to be sincere with ourselves and others.

Feminine energy plays a key role in this process. It helps us find a balance between caring for ourselves and others. It gives us the strength to overcome difficulties and inspires us to new achievements.

Beauty is a harmonious combination of external attractiveness and internal strength. A confident woman radiates a special energy – feminine energy – that attracts people to her and makes her truly beautiful.

True beauty begins with confidence – not only external, but internal as well.

From your perspective as an expert working in the beauty industry, how important is appearance for a woman today?

Appearance has always been and remains an important part of every girl's life. When we take care of ourselves, it not only improves our physical condition, but also raises our self-esteem. Feeling confident and attractive is important.

Today, there are enough ways to take care of yourself: from simple home procedures to professional salon services. But you should never forget that beauty begins from within.

Finding a competent employee is no easy task, let alone winning their loyalty. How do you structure your business to strengthen the bond between your employees and Bemônt?

In modern business, structure plays a key role. We have clearly built processes and distributed responsibilities. This approach allows us to achieve high results and effectively manage resources. However, it is equally important to create an atmosphere of unity and mutual understanding among employees.

It was important for us to build processes so that the team felt like one family, and each employee understood and appreciated the company's contribution to their personal development and professional growth. This approach helps to increase motivation, and therefore improve the quality of work. When an employee feels like a part of the company, he begins to treat work as his own business, putting a piece of his heart into it.

What gives you the most satisfaction in your work?

The smiles of our guests. When I come to Bemônt, meet our clients and see their smiles, it not only makes me happy, but also motivates me to take on new challenges and move forward.

About author

I pass by being that person liable to duty, but who cannot resist the flights of imagination. I have always loved the legends, the myths and the stories of the old and distant times with my whole being. In high school I fell in love with the history of art and I made it the object of my university studies. Once I graduated, I dusted off an old flame: that of children's literature. I rediscovered the beauty and importance of illustrated books and books, where, to a quality text, images are added that give strength and enrich what is narrated with meaning. It can be said that illustrators often make real works of art! It was then that I decided to follow this passion of mine both as a volunteer, entering the ranks of readers born to read, and in my work as a librarian. I am a greedy devoured of illustrated books (I have an absolute weakness for the stories that have bears or wolves as protagonists!), I love simple stories that know how to strike and surprise. I hate pigeon-holed books in a specific age group and readers in a certain category of readings. I think everyone is different and deserves to choose (and be chosen by the books) without constraints, in complete freedom! [email protected]
