Aviators, Round and Futuristic: The Most Fashionable Sunglasses

Aviators

Not again, but once again we remembered the classics, but in a fresh interpretation, when we reviewed Anthony Vaccarello's spring-summer collection for Saint Laurent, dedicated to that very safari style of Saint Laurent. Of course, from a new angle. Aviators are good because they will almost never go out of fashion, and because they are absolutely universal. You can wear them with both tuxedos and work overalls.

Futuristic

We found cool models at Balenciaga, Loewe, Valentino and even Chanel. Reminiscent of a mask, with a huge frame, with a colored frame or lenses, of a bizarre shape – choose the appropriate “interior” for them. For example, laconic floor-length dresses, total white, torn oversized T-shirts or jackets of destructive styles.

Round

And, preferably, in a colored frame. We saw these in a retro style at Ian Griffiths' show for Max Mara – and now we keep in mind not only them, but also the look from the show as a whole. We like the jackets and shorts that match the glasses. We plan to wear them the same way, and also pair them with mini dresses with a floral print and skirts that refer to Dior's new look.

“Cat's eye”

The cat eye is back on the catwalks — and in real life. With our hands, feet and, of course, eyes, we vote for a model that will instantly add playfulness to your look and image, and then highlight your cheekbones. Among the favorites is a minimalist vintage pair made of transparent acetate, created in collaboration with Khaite and Oliver Peoples.

About author

I pass by being that person liable to duty, but who cannot resist the flights of imagination. I have always loved the legends, the myths and the stories of the old and distant times with my whole being. In high school I fell in love with the history of art and I made it the object of my university studies. Once I graduated, I dusted off an old flame: that of children's literature. I rediscovered the beauty and importance of illustrated books and books, where, to a quality text, images are added that give strength and enrich what is narrated with meaning. It can be said that illustrators often make real works of art! It was then that I decided to follow this passion of mine both as a volunteer, entering the ranks of readers born to read, and in my work as a librarian. I am a greedy devoured of illustrated books (I have an absolute weakness for the stories that have bears or wolves as protagonists!), I love simple stories that know how to strike and surprise. I hate pigeon-holed books in a specific age group and readers in a certain category of readings. I think everyone is different and deserves to choose (and be chosen by the books) without constraints, in complete freedom! [email protected]
