Fashionable outerwear for autumn and winter: leather trench coat, pea coat and coat

Leopard print

Predators are back in town, on the runway and in our fall wardrobes. We recommend walking “leopard” on raincoats, jackets, bomber jackets and coats, and look for viable stylistic techniques in the collections of Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior, Isabel Maran and Alessandro Del Acqua in No. 21. In the first collection, we liked the trench coat complete with a black long sleeve and futuristic glasses , Maran has found a jacket for those who are just taming the “cat”. Del Acqua has perhaps the most daring option – teamed with a pink dress in a floral print.

By the way, domestic brands are also doing well with training – I like the Idol quilted jacket, the Mollis jacket coat and the Love Republic down jacket.

Black coat for going out

Yes, we didn't make a mistake. We decided to include in this selection a coat that will emphasize the seriousness of work moments and complement office decor, and which will become an important element of the image for going out. We spotted the right models in Pierpaolo Piccioli's final all-black collection for Valentino (single-breasted with a perfect collar and lapels), Ferragamo (Maximilian Davis focused on double-breasted with a spectacular collar), Stella McCartney (McCartney's version in thick cotton, reminiscent of a trench coat, with an active line shoulder).

Our trend theory was confirmed in practice by local brands: 12Storeez, Karpov and Yulia Wave. The Yulia Wave coat looks more like a perfectly tailored evening dress with an emphasis on the waist.

Any color: from terracotta to graphite

Trench coat, coat, jacket, bomber jacket or fur coat – it’s up to you to decide what type of outerwear you will wear. Just let it be bright (or not very bright). We, for example, love Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski's scarlet trench coat for Hermès (she is generally a fan of rich shades: from butterscotch to blue-black), Jil Sander's marshmallow cape coat and Mathieu Blasi's aquamarine-dyed “cocoon” from Bottega Veneta.

An expedition through the local market led us to a chocolate wrap coat from Daisyknit, a voluminous double-breasted coat in fuchsia by Alexander Rogov and in the current butter color from the Choux team.

About author

I pass by being that person liable to duty, but who cannot resist the flights of imagination. I have always loved the legends, the myths and the stories of the old and distant times with my whole being. In high school I fell in love with the history of art and I made it the object of my university studies. Once I graduated, I dusted off an old flame: that of children's literature. I rediscovered the beauty and importance of illustrated books and books, where, to a quality text, images are added that give strength and enrich what is narrated with meaning. It can be said that illustrators often make real works of art! It was then that I decided to follow this passion of mine both as a volunteer, entering the ranks of readers born to read, and in my work as a librarian. I am a greedy devoured of illustrated books (I have an absolute weakness for the stories that have bears or wolves as protagonists!), I love simple stories that know how to strike and surprise. I hate pigeon-holed books in a specific age group and readers in a certain category of readings. I think everyone is different and deserves to choose (and be chosen by the books) without constraints, in complete freedom! [email protected]
