Halophyte patches and gel-mist for the face: must-haves of the season from MyBiogen

Halophyte patches and gel-mist for the face: must-haves of the season from MyBiogen

MyBiogen was created in 2022 thanks to the collaboration of the American laboratory Biogenesis Lab with the European company Pharmaceutical Cosmetic. Biogenesis Lab's own scientific developments and production facilities, a large staff of technologists, dermatologists and cosmetologists allowed the laboratory to create the MyBiogen by Biogenesis Lab brand. Its launch coincided with the beginning of work in a new direction – skin DNA restoration.

The skin is constantly exposed to the external environment, which causes wrinkles and thinning of the epidermis. However, key transformations occur at the molecular level, explains Biogenesis Lab. The cumulative effect of repeated damage contributes to the development of DNA mutations and inhibits the synthesis of proteins necessary to maintain normal metabolism, which leads to visible signs of skin aging. Moreover, the DNA repair mechanism slows down with age, which contributes to an increased risk of mutations and the creation of a skin structure that is difficult to restore and cannot be corrected.

There is not much data to date on the ability of any substance to improve the efficiency of DNA repair in human skin. However, biohacking has become a permanent part of our lives: we are learning to control and regulate cellular processes.

Biogenesis Lab scientists, based on their own research and the work of other scientific laboratories around the world, conduct developments at production sites in Paterson and Hackensack (New Jersey). Formulas are created in the Biogenesis Lab laboratory, and products are manufactured in the United States, South Korea and Europe. They are also partially packaged and packed in Europe.

Over the course of two years, a line of intensive-action products was released to solve problems of various natures, but with a common goal – to prolong the youth of the skin. The brand's portfolio includes 16 care products, among the hits are the Eye Patches Halophyte halophyte patches and the Gel Mist Magic Veil gel-mist.

Eye Patches Halophyte is a 2-in-1 product. They are completely water-soluble for subsequent use as a moisturizing serum. In addition, they can be used not only in the area around the eyes, but also in the nasolabial fold area, to eliminate creases between the eyebrows and on the neck in the area of the “rings of Venus”. The patches intensively brighten, moisturize and even out the microrelief of the skin, smooth out “crow's feet”, lighten dark circles under the eyes and reduce the severity of “bags” under the eyes. A pleasant bonus – the patches are completely invisible on the skin (which can be a plus if, for example, you use them on an airplane).

“The main component of the product — sea sabdariff — has excellent moisturizing properties,” explains Elena Zubareva, a trainer and cosmetologist at Pharmaceutical Cosmetics. “Like many plants that live in unfavorable conditions, sea sabdariff effectively restores the skin's moisture level and acts as a depositing component. Thanks to its unique properties, skin cells are saturated with moisture for a long time, up to 48 hours. This provides deep hydration, helping to smooth out fine wrinkles, giving the skin a healthy and well-groomed appearance.”

The Gel Mist Magic Veil facial gel mist consists of a composition of plant extracts placed in drops of hyaluronic acid (the composition includes eight types). It envelops the skin in a cloud of moisture, giving a feeling of comfort and freshness. The mist improves microcirculation and cellular metabolism of the skin, increases its protective functions, soothes and has an anti-inflammatory effect. The gel mist is suitable for any time of year, it can be used many times during the day. It is convenient for transportation, since its gel texture does not spill.

“Gel-mist is a powerful moisturizer that restores immunity and the hydrolipid mantle of the skin, including promoting rejuvenation processes and reducing the severity of wrinkles. But the most important thing is the creation of a high-quality, safe mantle on the skin surface, which provides long-lasting and comfortable hydration,” adds Elena Zubareva.

About author

I pass by being that person liable to duty, but who cannot resist the flights of imagination. I have always loved the legends, the myths and the stories of the old and distant times with my whole being. In high school I fell in love with the history of art and I made it the object of my university studies. Once I graduated, I dusted off an old flame: that of children's literature. I rediscovered the beauty and importance of illustrated books and books, where, to a quality text, images are added that give strength and enrich what is narrated with meaning. It can be said that illustrators often make real works of art! It was then that I decided to follow this passion of mine both as a volunteer, entering the ranks of readers born to read, and in my work as a librarian. I am a greedy devoured of illustrated books (I have an absolute weakness for the stories that have bears or wolves as protagonists!), I love simple stories that know how to strike and surprise. I hate pigeon-holed books in a specific age group and readers in a certain category of readings. I think everyone is different and deserves to choose (and be chosen by the books) without constraints, in complete freedom! [email protected]
