Horse ointment for hair – which one is the best?

What is the best horse ointment for hair? Before you make a purchase, note that horse ointment is available in two versions with different compositions – a warming ointment and a cooling ointment. The difference lies in the details, specifically in essential oils and the presence of capsaicin, which has a warming effect – it is also found in, among others, so-called lip glosses that enlarge lips. It is an ingredient in, among others, chili peppers – it irritates the skin, stimulates circulation.

It is difficult to indicate the best specific brand of horse ointment for hair. However, it is known for sure that the best for hair is the warming horse ointment. Applying it to the head stimulates the skin and stimulates hair growth, which becomes thicker. The bulbs become stronger and the hair falls out less.

Horse ointment for hair – side effects, contraindications

As with all care products (both those used as intended and those with alternative uses, such as horse ointment for hair), side effects may occur. In the case of horse ointment applied to hair, skin irritation, skin congestion, and burns may occur.

Absolute contraindications are scalp injuries, which can be penetrated by substances such as camphor contained in horse ointment. This could have a toxic effect on the body. Therefore, do not do, for example, scalp peeling before the procedure. Do not use horse ointment on your hair if you have atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis or a tendency to allergies.

Therefore, first do an allergy test on a small area of skin, because – unfortunately – many opinions indicate that horse ointment causes allergies relatively often. However, if everything is fine, you can use the ointment as a rub on dry scalp for a month. After applying, wait half an hour, then wash thoroughly, and then wash your hair as usual.
