Landscape

Concept

Creative director and founder Lena Les was born and raised in St. Petersburg, a city that embodies high art that you want to take apart, study and reassemble, giving it new meanings. Architecture, laconicism and dusty natural shades inspired the bachelor of the Parisian school Mod'ArtInternational (specializing in Fashion Design) and master (in fashion industry management) to launch her own project – and so the brand Landscape was born.

Assortment

The brand's collections are built around a natural palette, bionic forms, “live” heterogeneous surfaces – stone, moss, texture of water surface, tree bark. They work here with natural materials that not only meet the criteria of organicity, but also make you want to touch them more often. Fabrics are brought from Italy, and the products are sewn at their own production facility in St. Petersburg. They prefer a well-thought-out cut, pay due attention to tailoring and focus on a wardrobe-constructor. There are few items in the collection, but each one falls into the timeless category and gets along well with a large part of modern trends. Among the latest hits is a cruise capsule made of silk and linen in sand, graphite, white and black colors.

Corars

Concept

Olga Devitlitskaya, founder and creative director, is responsible for all components of Corars. According to her, the brand's concept is identical to an intellectual style that exists outside of time and trends. That is why items from the Corars collections will not only last for several seasons and will be friends with most of your wardrobe, but can also be easily passed on to future generations. The long life of each item is guaranteed by proven production methods and technologies.

Assortment

“A smart purchase is, first and foremost, a quality purchase” is the thesis that underlies the DNA brand. The brand's collection has everything a modern city dweller needs: trendy lilac corduroy trousers, a classic crepe suit, basic tops, everyday shirt dresses and evening models made of wet silk. The team follows trends, but chooses those that can be “folded” into a capsule wardrobe. Versatility and functionality are confirmed by the choice of materials – natural wool, leather, silk, linen, cotton, nettle and hemp.

Without Fail

Concept

Without Fail was launched a year ago by entrepreneur Natalia Simonyan, who gathered talented people around her who now make up the brand's team. Simonyan's goal is to create that very wardrobe of a modern girl with universal, but at the same time characteristic things that will not allow “to make mistakes” (this idea is “embedded” in the name). The founder explains that the heroine of her brand is distinguished from others by the philosophy of stand out of the crowd: “This is not just a banal desire to stand out from the crowd, but rather a life position not to be where you don't like, not to interact with those with whom it is not interesting, not to waste time on things that are not worth it, not to wear things that do not inspire.”

Assortment

The team sees a modern wardrobe as an archive, in which items from different seasons can be combined into one look if desired. Thus, in the summer capsule, the connecting link with the previous one was a fiery red dress with an open back made of draped fabric. Here, there were also duets of a jacket with trousers in pearl corduroy, a double-breasted jacket of a sculptural cut made of charcoal crepe and evening shorts with stripes in the same tone – everything gets along perfectly, for example, with a dress made of black crepe with inserts of French lace. Without Fail deliberately chooses pleasant (corduroy) and natural (linen) materials. A separate point in the brand's work is the love for leather and its derivatives (suede).

7dots

Concept

The history of 7dots began in the city of Sayansk in the Irkutsk region, where Yulia Sychkina grew up. Her love for clothes (she loved dressing up as a child) and sewing began here — her dad is a tailor. After moving to Novosibirsk, studying at the Institute of Light Industry, and searching for herself, Yulia Sychkina met Lyudmila Surkova. In 2010, they opened their first showroom, where they sold clothes from China, and a few years later they moved from Novosibirsk to Moscow — and decided to radically change the vector of their work. Sychkina graduated from the technological college (faculty of “Design and technology of garments”), and together with Surkova opened a laboratory, and then a small production facility, which grew into a brand. Today, 7dots has four stores (in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and Barnaul), a staff of 30 people, cooperation with partners from different cities and Lamoda. Yulia is entirely responsible for the product (from the sketch to the content), and Lyudmila is responsible for network development, finances, marketing and personnel.

Assortment

Yulia and Lyudmila are focused on a wardrobe constructor – complex and multifaceted, where each capsule tells its own little story. According to Yulia, the emphasis in 7dots is on shape, cut, silhouette, details, intelligence and irony. Clothes are sewn in Moscow, and fabrics and accessories are selected from Chinese manufacturers. The key positions are the top group – coats and jackets. The founders believe that it is coats and jackets that can “embrace and convey our love.” The brand's fresh campaign and collection are dedicated to love – everything rests on it – and are timed to coincide with the opening of an updated space in Novosibirsk, the brand's home city. Hence, total red as the main character.

About author

I pass by being that person liable to duty, but who cannot resist the flights of imagination. I have always loved the legends, the myths and the stories of the old and distant times with my whole being. In high school I fell in love with the history of art and I made it the object of my university studies. Once I graduated, I dusted off an old flame: that of children's literature. I rediscovered the beauty and importance of illustrated books and books, where, to a quality text, images are added that give strength and enrich what is narrated with meaning. It can be said that illustrators often make real works of art! It was then that I decided to follow this passion of mine both as a volunteer, entering the ranks of readers born to read, and in my work as a librarian. I am a greedy devoured of illustrated books (I have an absolute weakness for the stories that have bears or wolves as protagonists!), I love simple stories that know how to strike and surprise. I hate pigeon-holed books in a specific age group and readers in a certain category of readings. I think everyone is different and deserves to choose (and be chosen by the books) without constraints, in complete freedom! [email protected]
