Sugar peeling – is it worth it? Exfoliation, moisturization and regeneration

Completely natural peeling for little money? It's possible. Sugar peeling is not only easy to perform, but also very effective. So if we want to achieve radiant, smooth and firm skin at a low cost, this will be the perfect way. Sugar peeling belongs to the group of mechanical peels, just like coffee peeling. Although it is generally known that sugar is not the healthiest product, it is great for problems such as dry skin, blackheads, cellulite or loss of skin firmness. However, regular use is important.

This peeling will help gently remove dead skin, eliminate acne scars, and when used before depilation, it will eliminate ingrown hairs. In addition, it can improve skin elasticity and support its regeneration. We can easily use this peeling on the face, body, elephants, feet or lips.

However, it is important to adjust the intensity of rubbing and the grain size to the sensitivity of the skin. For example, the skin on the face is more delicate, which means that we should use small particles of sugar. However, when it comes to the rest of the body, we can use larger particles for peeling. Sugar scrub can be used for all skin types and shades.

Recipe for sugar scrub. How to use it properly?

Making sugar scrub at home is extremely simple. We will only need a bowl, sugar and coconut oil. Enough:

  • half a cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (olive oil and baby oil will also work)
  • optional: favorite essential oil

Mix all ingredients thoroughly until combined. This mixture can be successfully stored in a closed jar in a shaded place. However, it should not be kept for longer than a few days.

The most important point in applying a sugar scrub is moist skin. This will reduce friction and prevent excessive exfoliation of the epidermis. We should also not apply too much product to the body. For example, for the face, a teaspoon of peeling is enough. Then apply the peeling to your face and massage in circular motions for a minute or two. The pressure should be light. Circular massaging helps ensure effective exfoliation without exposing the skin to damage or irritation. Then rinse everything off with warm water. Rinsing quickly ensures the effectiveness of the exfoliation process, preventing potential irritation that could occur if the product is left on the skin for too long.
