White maxi
Let's be honest, a white skirt of any kind is a must in the summer. A full one, like a princess's; a low-waisted one made of satin fabric, more reminiscent of a petticoat (I found one at Gate 31 in St. Petersburg); a pencil skirt with a striking neckline and a godet made of viscose linen (there's a beautiful option in the Charmstore cruise collection). At +30, wear them with fisherman's sandals, jelly ballet flats or mules (for example, leopard ones), and as soon as the thermometer starts to drop lower, loafers (don't forget colored socks made of thin wool), cropped Cossack boots and lace-up boots will come into play.
Any length, but leather or precious metal
In summer, we do not refuse leather skirts and those “drenched” in gold or silver. At least because the weather is very changeable. And, secondly, because at the beginning of September, they can be safely introduced into everyday wardrobe. I liked the leather mini with small perforations – just right for the confident plus outside the window – which was invented by Fidan Novruzova from Moldova (she studied at Central Saint Martins and interned at Burberry and Simone Rocha). And we also recruit a model from the Ivolga collection in life-affirming lime, a silver mini Say no more and a gold Rogov Shop as companions for hot evenings.
With floral print
Flowers? In summer? Yes, maybe not very original, but always with a plus sign. Following the sundress (sundresses with a floral print), we look at skirts – in small or large buds.
