Rewe is currently recalling a schnitzel because pathogens were detected during a check. Due to a possible health risk, customers should under no circumstances consume the product.
The Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) reports on its portal “www.lebensmittelwarning.de” about a recall by the company Tillman's Convenience GmbH for the product “ja! Chicken schnitzel”. The schnitzel was sold at Rewe.
Listeria detected
The manufacturer Tillman's Convenience GmbH calls the product “yes!” Chicken schnitzel” with the best before date (best before date) May 23, 2024, batch number 37944658, EAN 4337256240260.
According to the information, listeria was detected in a sample during a routine check. Therefore, customers should under no circumstances consume products with the stated best before date.
Rewe reacted immediately and removed the affected product from sale. It can be returned at all points of sale. Tillman's Convenience GmbH apologizes to all affected customers for the inconvenience caused.
The company notes that it has implemented appropriate measures to prevent such an incident from recurring in the future.
