What is cellulite

Cellulite is a cosmetic defect in which there is a local accumulation of adipose tissue and changes in the surface of the skin. It manifests itself in the form of lumpiness, “retraction” and unevenness of the skin – the same “orange peel” effect occurs.

Cellulite can appear in both women and men. Approximately 80–90% of all girls and women have cellulite to one degree or another. It can occur anywhere on the body where fatty tissue accumulates, but is most often localized on the thighs and buttocks.

The symptoms of cellulite directly depend on the stage of its development. At the initial stages, visible changes are minor and unnoticeable to the patient. The first symptoms are a slight unevenness on the surface of the skin, pallor, decreased temperature and elasticity of the skin in the affected areas.

As the disease progresses, symptoms become more severe. Vascular manifestations appear (dilation of venules, capillaries), impaired microcirculation, and pain in the affected areas may occur.

The main causes of cellulite

  • Heredity.
  • Hormonal factors.
  • Bad habits: smoking and alcohol abuse.
  • Lack of sleep – lack of sleep leads to decreased activity and a slowdown in many metabolic processes.
  • High heels and tight clothing lead to fluid retention due to mechanical compression of blood vessels and obstruction of lymph flow.
  • Stress.
  • Poor diet, insufficient fluid intake, lack of activity.

Is it possible to get rid of cellulite?

You can get rid of cellulite. The first thing you need to start with is to reconsider your lifestyle. Getting rid of cellulite requires a comprehensive approach. You need to maintain a drinking regime, adhere to proper nutrition, and also increase your activity. To speed up the process of getting rid of cellulite, you need to add massage, wraps, scrubs and creams.

RSL sculpting procedure

RSL sculpting helps to cope with various body skin problems and cellulite (third/fourth stage) without damaging the skin. And this is not only getting rid of extra centimeters, improving skin tone and quality, increasing turgor, but also affecting the entire body as a whole. His work is based on:

  • vibration compression — it enhances tissue microcirculation, which leads to active oxygen saturation, due to this, metabolic processes in tissues are normalized, lymphatic drainage is improved, toxins are eliminated, congestion and swelling are eliminated;
  • LED therapy — red light penetrates up to 4 mm deep into the epidermis, this effect activates collagenosis, helps increase the activity of fibroblasts, which are responsible for the production of collagen and elastin, by 19%.

RSL sculpting has few contraindications; even with varicose veins of the first and second degrees, it is not contraindicated. The procedure can be done at any time of the year.

After a course of RSL sculpting – at least ten sessions, every other day, for example, at the Infacial clinic (Ruzheyny Lane, 3) – the body changes daily:

  • after the first session, swelling begins to disappear;
  • in two or three sessions the skin tone changes, it becomes denser and more elastic;
  • From about the fifth session, cellulite begins to “melt”;
  • By the tenth session, excess volumes are removed due to adipose tissue.

After RSL procedures, the skin thickens, its turgor increases, the degree of elasticity increases, the “orange peel” decreases, and the skin texture is smoothed. RSL therapy also has a relaxing effect on the nervous system and stabilizes the psycho-emotional state of the body.

After a full course of 12 procedures, the result lasts for at least six months. You can improve and maintain the results after a course of RSL procedures with the help of proper nutrition, physical activity and home care.
