Advantages of scalp peeling

Regular exfoliation of the scalp has many advantages and we should not forget about it, because the lack of this treatment may harm the hair: it may result in clogging of hair follicles, hair loss and even seborrheic dermatitis.

It is also worth noting that thanks to peeling, the active substances will work much better and the hair cuticles will be more susceptible to stimulation. The greatest advantages of using peeling on the scalp include: stimulation of microcirculation, removal of dead epidermis, increased effectiveness of care cosmetics, regulation of sebum secretion, strengthening of the skin and regrowth of hair from the roots.

Exfoliating the scalp itself is not difficult, just wash your hair thoroughly, apply the scrub mixture, and then perform a gentle massage.

Finally, thoroughly rinse off the remnants of the peeling and apply your favorite conditioner. However, remember that peeling should not be done too often. Experts recommend using it once a week or once every two weeks. If we are not allergic to any of the peeling ingredients, there are no contraindications to using it.

Homemade peeling. We will need these ingredients

Many ingredients can be used to prepare a homemade scalp scrub. However, one of the most popular are small coffee beans. They are used for both body and head peeling.

However, it is worth remembering that peeling with this ingredient may slightly darken the hair color, so it is not recommended for blondes to use it. Coffee will help cleanse and exfoliate dead skin. Moreover, it also has a stimulating effect, as the caffeine it contains is an ingredient often used for hair growth.

Sugar particles can also be successfully used as a peeling ingredient. They not only exfoliate, but also moisturize. Sugar will therefore be a suitable supplement to your care, as it will help regulate sebum and remove calloused epidermis. You can also use ground oatmeal for peeling.

To make a home peel, we should combine exfoliating products with a base. Here we also have several products to choose from. We can successfully combine the particles with shampoo or favorite conditioner. However, you need to make sure that they will not be too burdensome for your hair. Instead of shampoo, we can use aloe gel, which combined with sugar will create a moisturizing mix. It is also worth considering using yogurt, which is rich in AHA acid.
