How to prepare a chamomile compress for the eyes?

You can use two bags (express tea) of chamomile or two tablespoons of dried tea. We recommend chamomile in bags because it has the same effect, and there is a much lower risk of flower particles accidentally placed on the gauze getting into the eye.

  • Pour boiling water over chamomile (approx. 150 ml).
  • Keep covered for 5 minutes.
  • Dip two sterile gauze pads into the pressure and squeeze gently.
  • Place chamomile compresses on your closed eyes.
  • Leave the chamomile on your eyes for 15-20 minutes.
  • Chamomile infusion for eyes should be warm, but not hot.
  • If your eye swelling is also a problem, use cold compresses. Before using the infusion, it is worth cooling it in the refrigerator.
