Product reminder: if you purchased this reference of Activia yogurts, do not eat them!

The Rappel Conso site has just published a recall sheet concerning Activia brand yogurts. The cause: non-compliance of the product, which is better not to consume.

Have you purchased Activia yogurt recently? Read carefully what follows. Indeed, a reference from this famous brand of yogurts is the subject of a recall, published on the Conso recall site this October 26, 2023.

Yogurts unfit for consumption

The recall concerns Activia Brassé natural yogurts, sold in packs of 8 pots, from the Danone brand. They were sold throughout Europe, in Auchan, Carrefour, Casino, Leclerc, Intermarché, Système U, Monoprix, Cora, Match and Schiever Distribution stores, between October 7 and 26. The batch number concerned is 09/11 278 B1X 10:40 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. with a use-by date of November 9, 2023.

A product likely to be dangerous to health

The recall sheet explains that the product exhibits “a non-compliance likely to be visible upon opening the jar making the products unfit for consumption (liquid texture like milk, risk of irritation if ingested).”

These yogurts were therefore manufactured and/or stored in conditions that did not provide satisfactory health guarantees. Although their consumption will not cause “irreversible health consequences”, they are still unfit for consumption due to the fact that they may present a potential danger to the health of consumers.

What to do if you purchased this product?

If you have this product at home, the government’s instructions are to no longer consume it, destroy it or return it to the store. It is possible to contact consumer service, a telephone number, 08.00.00.37.98 has been set up.

The end date of the recall procedure is set for Saturday November 11, 2023. Finally, the Consumer Recall site mentions that no other batch of the Activia brand is affected by this recall.

About author

I pass by being that person liable to duty, but who cannot resist the flights of imagination. I have always loved the legends, the myths and the stories of the old and distant times with my whole being. In high school I fell in love with the history of art and I made it the object of my university studies. Once I graduated, I dusted off an old flame: that of children's literature. I rediscovered the beauty and importance of illustrated books and books, where, to a quality text, images are added that give strength and enrich what is narrated with meaning. It can be said that illustrators often make real works of art! It was then that I decided to follow this passion of mine both as a volunteer, entering the ranks of readers born to read, and in my work as a librarian. I am a greedy devoured of illustrated books (I have an absolute weakness for the stories that have bears or wolves as protagonists!), I love simple stories that know how to strike and surprise. I hate pigeon-holed books in a specific age group and readers in a certain category of readings. I think everyone is different and deserves to choose (and be chosen by the books) without constraints, in complete freedom! [email protected]
