Just a few days ago we reported on a nationwide recall for sausage that was contaminated with listeria. The company in question is now recalling numerous other sausage products because pathogens have been detected again.
The Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) reports on its portal “www.lebensmittelwarning.de” about another recall of sausage products from the food manufacturer Wolf GmbH, Schmölln (Thuringia).

If necessary, seek medical attention
Consumption of these products from the specified product batches is not recommended. Listeria disease manifests itself within a few days to a few weeks after infection with symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea as well as general flu-like symptoms such as fever, body aches and muscle pain.
People who develop severe or persistent symptoms and have eaten any of these foods should seek medical attention and report a possible listeria infection. (ad)
