A batch of wholemeal and 7-seed muffins from the Regent’s Park brand has been recalled across Europe. In question: the potential presence of pieces of stretchable plastic film, dangerous if ingested.

The possible presence of plastic film in a batch of wholemeal muffins led to a recall of these products.

These specific lots are being recalled due to the presence of a foreign object, in this case a piece of plastic stretch film in certain products. According to the Rappel Conso website, “due to the risk of injury/adverse effects following the ingestion of this product, as a precaution it is recommended that people who have products belonging to the batch(es) described above do not consume.
