In the world of beauty, trends never cease to surprise us. After coffee and vanilla, it’s strawberry’s turn to inspire a make-up look. Referred to as “strawberry makeup”, this ideal summer makeover consists of working on your complexion with blush and sun powder.
After Latte Makeup or Espresso Makeup, it seems that food is once again inspiring a way to dress up your face For the past few days, “strawberry makeup” has been buzzing on Tik Tok, with 3 billion views on the counter, in a few days barely. This makeover, which has a funny name, consists of applying a very pronounced blush, accompanied by a few freckles, well-worked eyebrows, bronzer (dark sun powder which creates the illusion of tanned skin, editor’s note) with glossy lips. Oscillating between the “sunkissed” effect and the natural “tomato girl” look, this makeup look is very simple to do, and requires few tools.
A fresh and simple look
The American model Hailey Bieber, who is behind this look, had filmed a makeup tutorial on her Tik Tok, subtitled “Everyday Strawberry Makeup” where she achieves a fresh and simple look in less than 2 minutes. Since then, a crowd of Internet users hastened to recreate the look on Tik Tok, adding a touch of glam with red gloss on the lips.

“Strawberry makeup” : comment faire ?
In her video, the model begins by applying a good amount of moisturizer in order to have radiant skin. She brushes her eyebrows to sculpt the look. To accentuate her tanned complexion, she warms up her complexion on the forehead and cheekbones with a creamy bronzer.
Then to color the cheeks, she does not skimp on the blush. Bieber applies two cream blushes to her cheekbones — a dark pink as well as a lighter pink — which she blends together directly on the skin. On the top of the cheekbone, she superimposes an illuminator in peach tones. To enlarge her look, the young woman uses bronzer in the crease of the eyelid, to which she adds a thin comma of eyeliner.
Some fake freckles are added to the felt, in order to have this “sunkissed” effect. And as for the lips, the model lightly traces the outline of her lips with a brown pencil, which she then blends with her finger. Little tip: instead of using lipstick, the young woman adds blush to her lips, which she taps gently with her finger. And to finish a touch of gloss to give a little shine. An ideal make-up for summer days!
