Product recall alert: these beer taps can explode

Be careful if you have purchased online or given a SEB or Krups brand beer tap. Models sold for more than a year by the site showroomprive.com could well expose you to the risk of explosion.

Six models of beer taps for individuals are the subject of a recall this Monday, according to the government site Rappel Conso. A malfunction of the electrical board could lead to the beer keg bursting and causing injury.

Which beer taps are affected?

These are 6 models sold between 04/23/2022 and 10/26/2023 by the online sales site showroomprive.com.

No longer use pumps

If you own one of the printers affected by this recall, you are strongly advised to no longer use it. “You are asked to unplug it and contact the service dedicated to the beer tap recall campaign as soon as possible”, writes Seb on his site. For the entire recall, a single contact telephone number exists: 09.74.50.10.21. A repair is indicated as compensation until the end of the recall procedure scheduled for December 31, 2024.

During December 2023, a similar recall was published. This time, the models were sold between 2009 and 2018.

About author

I pass by being that person liable to duty, but who cannot resist the flights of imagination. I have always loved the legends, the myths and the stories of the old and distant times with my whole being. In high school I fell in love with the history of art and I made it the object of my university studies. Once I graduated, I dusted off an old flame: that of children's literature. I rediscovered the beauty and importance of illustrated books and books, where, to a quality text, images are added that give strength and enrich what is narrated with meaning. It can be said that illustrators often make real works of art! It was then that I decided to follow this passion of mine both as a volunteer, entering the ranks of readers born to read, and in my work as a librarian. I am a greedy devoured of illustrated books (I have an absolute weakness for the stories that have bears or wolves as protagonists!), I love simple stories that know how to strike and surprise. I hate pigeon-holed books in a specific age group and readers in a certain category of readings. I think everyone is different and deserves to choose (and be chosen by the books) without constraints, in complete freedom! [email protected]
